The Wisdom of Weeds: Lessons in Joy, Resilience, and Inner Strength
Some of the best plants I know are the ones people overlook. Labeled as “weeds” by the uninitiated, they are, to me, miraculous.
They are often underestimated, tenacious as hell, and carry some of the most potent plant medicine you'll ever find. They grow wherever they can get a foothold—between cracks in concrete, on the side of roads, in forgotten corners of the garden.
These wild plants don’t get caught up in pretense. They shine their joyful little lights into the world, even if nobody notices.
And they’re excellent food for bees.
Lessons in Resilience from Weeds
We could all use more of that kind of energy—especially in a world that often feels heavy.
Show up.
Be yourself.
Love what you have to offer.
Grow in the direction that works for you.
Weeds are only weeds if you don’t know what you’re looking at. The same is true for people.
You Are Not a Weed—You’re a Wild Light
Your value isn’t in the eye of the beholder.
It’s inherent in the life force that flows through you.
So let’s channel some of that dandelion energy into our own lives. Let’s shine our light—if for no other reason, than because it is ours.
